Word on the street, and by street I mean Twitter, is that in order to enable manufacturers to have Windows 10 devices ready for the official July 29th launch, Microsoft has to wrap up their development by the end of this week.  Whether this means there will also be a RTW (Release to Web) for MSDN subscribers is unknown but hopes are high.

This news comes on the heels of the announcement that Visual Studio 2015 will be released on July 20th, less than two weeks from today.  If you’re a Windows developer, this means you’ll have new tools to play with soon and a new platform to build for.  It’s like Christmas in July, or maybe that’s just me.
