It might be easy to migrate a simple app like WordPress to Azure, but migrating an enterprise application with multiple databases, components, and external dependencies requires more thought and planning. And when presented with all the available options on Azure, choosing the right one for the application exacerbates the problem. While migrating an app isn’t trivial, the process can be broken down into smaller parts using some analysis and will help guide the migration path forward. In this session, we’ll look at a rubric to help guide decision-making and then look at some of the options and tools to help facilitate this decision-making process.
