I took my wife and kids to see The Incredibles tonight. Wow! Easily the best movie I’ve seen this year. It makes you want to put on a red super-hero suit and go looking for some action.

Speaking of incredible–the weather was just that today. So OF COURSE I had to go to the field for a little flying. I snapped this shot of my AT-6 Texan doing a flyby, and this one of it landing. Poetry in motion!

I’m having a weird problem with my PC–a Dell 4600C. For several months now, it has been occasionally rebooting all by itself. Now it’s rebooting every 10-15 minutes. It’s a hard reboot, as if the power supply is glitching. I found a patch on Dell’s Web site that hints that it might be a software error in the drive controller. I downloaded the patch, but alas, it can only be installed from a floppy drive, and this PC is the only one I’ve ever owned that doesn’t have a floppy drive. First thing tomorrow morning, I’m heading to CompUSA to buy a USB floppy drive. If that doesn’t work, I’ll have to call Dell to send a technician to the office. I always buy the 24-hour service option when I purchase a new PC, so maybe I’ll have my first chance to use it. Meanwhile, this constant rebooting is driving me crazy!
