Microsoft has posted a list of upcoming features currently in development for Visual Studio 2015 as well as possibly older versions.  While the items don’t include dates they do show a breadth of features and a continued emphasis on supporting applications beyond Windows.

Microsoft’s Visual Studio Blog is giving readers a view into the work currently under development for Visual Studio including items like Tools for Windows 10, .NET Core Framework support for Linus and OS X, and enhanced support for the Unity game engine.  No dates are listed but several do show a target of Visual Studio 2015 which we expect will be released later this year.  They also warn that some items may be changed or cancelled along the way.
