Just got back from Kansas City after a wonderful visit to the local user group. Fine bunch of folks there. And a pretty good place for barbecue, too.

I’ve flown my new AT-6 Texan a few times now–enough to get most of the bugs worked out of it. Here’s a picture of the plane sitting in my workshop. I have a bunch of work (real work, as in finishing my Wicked Code column and starting a project that I just signed on to do for Microsoft) to do Thursday and Friday, but Saturday our R/C club is having a warbird fly-in. There will be lots of WWII planes and probably a number of other planes, too. We’re smoking a ham and deep frying a couple of turkeys, and everyone who comes is bringing a covered dish. Between flying and eating, it should be a Saturday to remember–provided the weather cooperates, of course.
